Privacy Policy

Fleurette Flow ("Fleurette Flow," "we," "us," or "our") is a private period and cycle-tracking application for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, developed by Hiva Javaher. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Fleurette Flow app and this website (fleurette.app/period-tracker) collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Fleurette Flow is built to be radically private — everything stays on your device, with no accounts, no servers, and no iCloud storage of your health data — and this policy reflects that.
1. Our privacy promise
Your cycle is deeply personal. Everything you record in Fleurette Flow — your period dates, flow, symptoms, moods, sleep, temperatures, test results, notes, and the predictions we calculate from them — stays on your device. There are no user accounts, and there is no Fleurette Flow server that receives your health data. We do not run advertising, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs inside the app, and we never sell or share your information. Your reproductive-health data never leaves your device — it is not stored in iCloud at all.
2. Information the app collects
Cycle & health data (stored locally only)
As you use the app, Fleurette Flow stores the data you enter — period and cycle dates, flow, symptoms, mood, sleep, temperature, LH test results, cervical-mucus observations, medication notes, life-stage mode, settings, and the predictions derived from them — in a protected local database on your device. This data is used only to power the app's own features on your device (logging, the Bloom, the Cycle Ring, predictions, and insights). It is not transmitted to us and is never stored in iCloud. There is no account to create, and no login that sends your data anywhere.
Apple Health (optional, off by default)
Fleurette Flow can work with Apple Health, but only if you choose. This is split into three independent choices, each off by default: (1) importing supported reproductive-health data from Health, (2) saving supported Flow entries back to Health, and (3) an optional activity context. You may enable any, all, or none of these, and Flow remains fully functional when you decline every one. In keeping with Apple's health-data requirements, health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data-mining, is never stored in iCloud, and the app never requests workout routes or location.
On-device intelligence
Fleurette Flow's predictions come from a deterministic on-device engine. On eligible devices, an optional on-device language feature ("Petal") can phrase facts the engine has already produced. All of this runs entirely on your device and makes zero network calls; it never calculates predictions, never diagnoses a condition, and never sends your cycle history off the device. Clear templates are used whenever the language feature is off or unavailable.
App Lock, privacy blur & your control
You can protect the app with App Lock (Face ID or your passcode), and a privacy blur hides your data in the app switcher. You can export your data as a password-protected JSON or CSV file, and you can permanently delete your data from your device at any time. Privacy, export, delete, basic logging, and basic prediction are never paywalled.
3. Information we do not collect
- No accounts, no logins, and no server that receives your cycle or health data.
- No iCloud or cloud storage of your reproductive-health data — none at all.
- No advertising identifiers, ad networks, or behavioral tracking.
- No third-party analytics SDKs embedded in the app.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal or health information for any purpose.
- No collection of contacts or location; the app never requests workout routes or location.
4. Apple Health data (special-category information)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the data exchanged stays on your device and in Apple's Health store under your control. We do not receive it, and it is never sent to a Fleurette Flow server (there isn't one). You can review and revoke Fleurette Flow's Health permissions at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps. Health information is used solely to provide the app's on-device features you have enabled.
5. This website and our newsletter
This website is a static site. Our host may process standard server logs (such as IP address and request information) for security and reliability; we do not use these for advertising. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
If you choose to join our newsletter, the email address you submit is processed and stored by our email provider, MailerLite, solely so we can send you Fleurette news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See MailerLite's privacy practices at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not use your newsletter email for any other purpose, and it is never linked to your cycle data (which we never receive).
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Fleurette Flow is free to use, with an optional Flow+ subscription that begins with a free trial and then auto-renews. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with limited, aggregate transaction and subscription-status information needed to deliver the service. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Privacy, export, delete, basic logging, and basic prediction are never paywalled, and a lapsed subscription never deletes or hides your data.
7. Your reproductive-health data and your safety
We understand that period and fertility data can be sensitive, and that laws affecting reproductive health differ by place and change over time. Fleurette Flow is designed so that this information stays on your device and under your control: because we operate no account and no server, and store nothing in iCloud, there is no cloud copy of your cycle data for anyone — including us — to hand over. You can lock the app, blur it in the app switcher, export an encrypted copy, and permanently delete your data at any time. If you have concerns about someone else accessing your device, we recommend enabling App Lock and your device passcode.
8. Children's privacy
Fleurette Flow is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information (for example, by subscribing to the newsletter), contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
Because your app data is stored locally, you are in control of it:
- Access & deletion (app): You can edit or delete your data in the app at any time, and deleting the app removes its local data from your device. You can export everything to a password-protected JSON or CSV file whenever you like.
- Apple Health: You can review or revoke Fleurette Flow's Health permissions any time in the Health app; the choices are independent and off by default.
- Newsletter: Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or contact us to be removed.
- Consumer health-data laws (e.g., Washington's My Health My Data Act, and similar U.S. state laws): We do not collect, share, or sell consumer health data. Your reproductive-health information stays on your device.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information.
- EU/UK (GDPR): Health data is a special category of personal data. Because your health data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us, we do not process it as a controller; any processing you perform is on your own device. For the limited newsletter email we do process, you have rights of access, correction, and erasure — contact us to exercise them.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
10. Data security
Local data is stored in a protected container with your device's Data Protection safeguards (encrypted while your device is locked), and App Lock gates the app behind Face ID or your passcode. Export files you create are protected with a password of your choosing using modern authenticated encryption. Data in transit to our newsletter provider is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Because we operate no server, hold none of your cycle data, and store nothing in iCloud, there is simply nothing on our side to breach. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we keep the data we touch to an absolute minimum precisely to reduce risk.
11. International users
Fleurette Flow is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., the limited data described above (for example, a newsletter email) may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Your cycle and health data, however, stays on your device.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice where appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
